At a Glance
The American Board of Allergy and Immunology requires 25 AMA PRA Category 1 credits each year on the subject of Allergy and Immunology. Up to 6 of these credits may come from non-self-directed state and institutionally mandated CME activities. A Patient Safety module and Communication module are each required once every 10 years. The Continuous Assessment Program (CAP) Pilot is also required and consists of two five-year cycles. Each year consists of two six-month question blocks, 30 article-based and 10 core / general knowledge questions. Complete 1 Practice Assessment/Quality Improvement model every 5 years (see ABAI website for qualifying activities).

The Wyoming Board of Medicine requires 60 CME hours every 3 years. These hours may be any combination of AMA-approved Category 1 or Category 2 credits, AOA credits, and verifiable self-assessment activities.
